Ray Liotta is known as an American actor. He is most famous for his roles in Goodfellas, Blow, and Hannibal.

Raymond Allen Liotta was born on December 18, 1954, in Newark, New Jersey. He was adopted by Alfred and Mary Liotta when he was only a couple of months old. The family later developed to include Liotta's sister, Linda, who was likewise adopted. Liotta was a capable competitor in sports, playing both basketball and soccer in high school.

In the wake of moving on from Union High School in 1973, Liotta went to the University of Miami, where he studied acting. When Ray Liotta moved to Hollywood, he went through years battling to look for some kind of employment.
