Robert De Niro is known as an American Oscar-winning actor. He is most famous for his roles in 'Taxi Driver,' 'The Godfather: Part II,' 'Raging Bull,' and 'Heat'.

Background and Age

Robert De Niro Jr. was born on August 17, 1943, in New York City. His folks were both regarded artists who had met while going to Hans Hoffman's acclaimed Provincetown painting classes. His mom, Virginia Admiral, was a cerebral and talented painter, a Berkeley graduate who made a huge name for herself during the 1940s and '50s New York art scene. De Niro then had an involved romantic acquaintance with model Toukie Smith that produced twin children in 1995. At that point in 1997, De Niro married Grace Hightower, with whom he has one child.

Career and Net Worth

In 1974 De Niro built up himself as one the country's best actors with his Academy Award-winning depiction of Vito Corleone in The Godfather: Part II, a role for which he figured out how to speak Sicilian. After two years, De Niro conveyed the most chilling performance of his career, playing wrathful cabbie Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver along with Jodie Foster.
