Sara Eisen is an American journalist and news anchor who is best known for her work on CNBC and Bloomberg Television. She is currently the co-anchor of Bloomberg Surveillance on Bloomberg Television and a global markets correspondent for CNBC.

Early Life

Sara Eisen was born in New York City on April 28, 1982. She grew up in a Jewish family and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. After graduating, she worked as a reporter for the Wisconsin State Journal and then moved to New York City to pursue a career in television journalism.

Career

In 2006, Sara Eisen joined CNBC as a reporter and producer. She quickly rose through the ranks and became a regular contributor to the network's morning show, Squawk Box. She also served as a correspondent for CNBC's On the Money and Power Lunch. In 2011, she was named co-anchor of CNBC's Worldwide Exchange.

In 2013, Sara Eisen joined Bloomberg Television as a global markets correspondent. She also became the co-anchor of Bloomberg Surveillance, a daily morning show that covers the markets and the economy. In addition to her work on Bloomberg Television, she is a regular contributor to Bloomberg Radio and Bloomberg.com.

In 2018, Sara Eisen was named one of the "30 Most Influential People in Finance" by Business Insider. She has also been featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.

Personal Life

Sara Eisen is married to Matthew Levine, a former hedge fund manager. They have two children together. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
