Nazanin Boniadi

Nazanin Boniadi is known as an Iranian-British actress and human rights activist. She is most famous for her roles in Hotel Mumba, Ben-Hur, and How I Met Your Mother.

Biography and Age

Nazanin Boniadi was born on May 22, 1980 in Tehran, Iran. Born at the height of the Iranian Revolution, Boniadi's folks relocated to London where she was raised with an emphasis on education. While she was associated with theater right off the bat, Boniadi later chose a path to turn into a doctor. She moved to the United States to go to the University of California, Irvine, where she got her Bachelor's Degree, with Honors in Biological Sciences and won the Undergraduate Research Award.

Changing gears to pursue her first love, Boniadi then chose to study acting, which included preparing in Contemporary Drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London under the supervision of Lloyd Trott.

Boniadi then went on to start with Armie Hammer and Dev Patel in the film Hotel Mumbai. The film was based on the real story of the assault on Mumbai's notorious Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. She also stars with J.K. Simmons in the first Starz series "Counterpart", a government agent spine chiller made by Justin Marks and officially produced by Marks and Morten Tyldum. Boniadi plays Clare, a confounding young lady of inquisitive root who turns into a significant key part as the season goes on.

In December 2019, the film Bombshell was released in theaters. Nazanin stars in the film as Rudi Bakhtiar.
