Nathaniel Faxon was born on October 11, 1975 in Boston, MA. He studied at the Brookwood School in Boston before attending Holderness School in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Afterward, Faxon studied at Hamilton College.

Nat Faxon married his wife, Meaghan Gadd on February 3, 2007. She is the daughter of the outstanding drummer named Steve Gadd. The couple has three children together. They have two daughters, Ruthie and Beatrice, and a son named Otis.

Career and Net Worth

Faxon started his career with the Los Angeles based improvisational and sketch comedy troupe and school, 'The Groundlings.' He was with the organization for many decades, which improved his performing arts abilities. Here he met Jim Rash, who later turned into his writing partner. He appeared in ads for Holiday Inn lodgings, Blockbuster, Swiffer Duster, Saturn, State Farm, Heineken, and TiVo among others. Faxon's made his TV screen debut in an episode of 'Rude Awakening' in 1999. His first noteworthy role as 'Kevin' came in 17 episodes of the comedy TV series 'Grosse Pointe' (2000).

Faxon stocked his resume with guest appearances in TV series like 'Reno 911!,'' Joey,' and 'NCIS'. He featured in the film, 'Romy and Michele: In the Beginning.' Additionally, he worked in films like 'Orange County,' 'Club Dread,' and 'Lower Learning.'

In 2012, Faxon appeared in the lead role of 'Ben Fox' in the Fox TV sitcom 'Ben and Kate.' After this series, his next lead role came as 'Russ Bowman' in FX comedy series 'Married,' where he appeared inverse Judy Greer. He has loaned his voice to a few characters on 'The Cleveland Show,' and 'American Dad!.' He was the voice of 'The Fro' in the 2009 MTV animated series 'DJ and the Fro.'

Faxon had his biggest success when co-wrote the screenplay of George Clooney film 'The Descendants'. He won Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay for The Descendants at the Academy Awards.

In November 2019, it was reported that the Charlie's Angels reboot tumbled in the film world. The renowned actress, Elizabeth Banks directed, produced, featured in and co-wrote the screenplay for the Charlie's Angels reboot. The film, which got a score of 58% on Rotten Tomatoes, opened underneath target objectives with $8.6 million locally and $19.3 million abroad. Nat had a role in the film as Peter Fleming.
