John Leguizamo is known as a Colombian American comedian and actor. He is most famous for his roles in Spawn and Romeo + Juliet.

Background and Age

John Leguizamo was born on July 22, 1964, in Bogotá, Colombia. Leguizamo spent his developmental years in Jackson Heights, a neighborhood in Queens, New York. His folks invested quite a bit of their energy either working or quibbling. His folks eventually separated from each other when he was 14. To cope with his sadness, Leguizamo started exploring different avenues regarding crime. He was arrested twice, once for hopping a metro turnstile and one other time for truancy.

To get him under control, Leguizamo's folks sent him back to Colombia for a year. At the prompting of his educators, Leguizamo went to a neighborhood acting school, subsidizing his classes through a part time job at Kentucky Fried Chicken. He made his film debut in Brian De Palma's widely praised Vietnam drama, Casualties of War (1989). Other film roles followed, from bit parts in enormous spending vehicles like Die Hard II (1990) to featured roles in indie movies like 1991's Hanging with the Homeboys.
