Jake Lacy is known as an American actor. He is most famous for his role as Pete Miller on The Office and as Casey Marion Davenport on the ABC sitcom Better with You.

Jake Lacy was born on February 14, 1985, in Greenfield, Massachusetts. He experienced childhood in Pittsford, Vermont. For his primary education, he went to Valley Union High school. He later went to the Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center's Addison Repertory Theater pre-professional program which was the place he took theater classes and started taking on acting roles.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2008. In the wake of moving on from UNCSA, he started working unspecialized temp jobs in New York to get by. He was a bar-back at a club, a server, and an exercise center secretary. While he was working part-time jobs, he was going for tryouts to get his acting career launched.
