Marriage and Wife

Career and Net Worth
In 1991 Letts wrote the play Killer Joe, about a Texas family that hires a killer for-contract to execute a relative. The content was so realistic that no performance center organization would consent to produce it. After two years, Letts and a couple of different actors produced the play themselves. Mixed audits didn't keep it from being a hit. A performance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe brought about generally welcomed productions in New York City and London. Next came Bug, a romantic tale about a lady who is a cocaine fiend and a man who thinks his body is pervaded with creepy crawlies. It debuted in London in 1996 and later ran in New York. In the meantime, Letts kept on acting. He moved to Los Angeles for a short period, discovering bits of work on TV programs like Seinfeld and Judging Amy.
In 2003 Steppenwolf produced Letts' next play, The Man from Nebraska. The tale of a protection specialist's loss of strict confidence, it represented a departure from the writer's past stunning violent material and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. His ensuing play, August: Osage County, was a dark comedy delineating an uncontrollably useless Oklahoma family adapting to the demise of its patriarch. August: Osage County won a Pulitzer Prize and five Tony Awards, including for best play. According to Letts, the entirety of his plays feature genuine characters who don't convey what needs to be done gracefully. He likes to have unique characters that are memorable.
In January 2020, it was announced that the film, Ford v Ferrari was added to the Oscar nominations list for the Best Picture category. Tracy has a supporting role in the film as Henry Ford II.
