James Wolk is known as an American actor. He is most famous for his roles on Zoo, For a Good Time, and Watchmen.
Background and Age
James Wolk is was born on March 22, 1985 in Farmington Hills, MI. He was born as the child of Edie, an art instructor, and Robert Wolk, a shoe storekeeper. His family is Jewish, and Wolk was brought up in Judaism. During his high school years, Wolk worked as an emcee at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. He graduated from North Farmington High School in 2003, and from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater and Dance in 2007.
Married, Wife and Kids
In June 2015, Wolk married Elizabeth Jae Lynch, during a wedding function that was held at Crossroads Estate, Firestone Winery in Los Olivos, California. They gave birth to their first kid, a son, Charlie, in mid 2017.
Career and Net Worth
In 2008, Wolk handled his first TV role in Hallmark Hall of Fame's Front of the Class, as Brad Cohen. He played the title character in the 2009 ABC pilot Solving Charlie. In 2010, Wolk was cast as the lead in the Fox TV series Lone Star, as Robert Allen, a Texas swindler married to the girl of one of his objectives, while all the while keeping up a relationship in another town. The show was dropped by Fox after just two episodes. Wolk had a role as Will in the lighthearted comedy film You Again. Wolk played a presidential speechwriter named Andrew Pierce in Georgetown, a 2011 ABC pilot which didn't go to air.
In Fall 2011, Wolk joined the second-season cast of the Showtime dramedy Shameless, with the regular role of Adam. In November 2014, Wolk was cast as the lead in the CBS summer drama Zoo, based on the novel by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge. Zoo debuted in June 2015. In 2015, Wolk featured as Philip in the comedy film This Is Happening. The motion picture is about an irritated sibling and sister who go on an excursion to locate their runaway grandma.
After the season finale of Watchmen was broadcast in December 2019, there were requests concerning whether Watchmen would return for season 2. HBO has not reestablished the series for another season yet that appears to be less about the performance of the show since it was a strong ratings and appraisals achievement. The requests are about whether there is sufficient material for a season 2. Wolk plays Senator Joe Keene on the show.
