Background and Education

Felicity Huffman was born on December 9, 1962, in Bedford, New York. Felicity Huffman was nicknamed "Flicka" growing up. She initially appeared on TV in the afterschool special, A Home Run for Love (1978) as a youngster.

In the wake of moving on from high school in 1981, Felicity Huffman studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She at that point went to New York University and dug into the city's entertainment world. Huffman turned into an establishing member of the Atlantic Theater Company. In 1988, she made her Broadway debut in David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, assuming control over the role of Karen from pop star Madonna.

Career

After a string of guest appearances and little film parts, Felicity Huffman got an opportunity with the comedy Sports Night, made by Aaron Sorkin. Playing TV producer Dana Whitaker, she earned a Golden Globe Award nomination in 2000 for her work on the series. After a repetitive role on the prominent comedy Frasier, Felicity Huffman handled a main role in another domestic comedy, Desperate Housewives.

The popular woman’s show also featured Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher and Eva Longoria. During the course of the series, her character grappled with adjusting work and family. The show was popular among audiences because it show the nasty side of women sitting at home.

Felicity Huffman has been married to actor and director William H. Macy since 1997. The couple has two girls, Sofia and Georgia. Felicity and her girls were caught in a college scandal involving admissions. On March 12, 2019, Huffman was captured alongside Full House actress Lori Loughlin and another group of people as part of a con that included guardians paying bribes to support their children's odds of going to first class universities.

As indicated by court reports, Huffman and Macy contributed $15,000 to a fake beneficent association in return for having a favored delegate supervise their daughters’’ school placement test and subtly change their incorrect answers. Huffman was accused of lawful offense to submit mail misrepresentation and genuine administrations mail. Her significant other was not charged and she was released subsequent to posting a $250,000 bail bond.
