Career and Net Worth
Will Sasso is most famous for his five seasons as a cast member on Mad TV from 1997 to 2002. Will started building up a few system TV projects with Disney for ABC in 2001 and in 2002, Sasso left MADtv to pursue the following phase of his career. Upon his exit from Mad TV, the show became known as "The House that Sasso Built and Bryan Callen crouched in." Sasso was fondly remembered for peculiar characters like the clumsy jack of all trades Paul Timberman, singer Michael McCloud, Talkin' American host Rui Peranio, and Mexican luchador Señor Bag of Crap.
As a huge pro wrestling fan, Will Sasso was delighted to get involved in the pro wrestling scene during his acting career. He got engaged in a worked shoot with popular top grappler Bret Hart during Hart's second guest appearance on MADtv. Sasso then appeared at ringside during the February 8, 1999 episode of WCW Monday Nitro, where Hart again assaulted him. During Sasso's time in WCW, observer Bobby Heenan would allude to Sasso as "Will Fatso". Sasso's impression of Steve Austin dazzled the WWF so much that they solicited him to appear on the February 7, 2002 episode of WWF SmackDown!, appearing close by Chris Jericho and Austin himself, as a way to promote Austin's forthcoming "MADtv" appearance.
Most of his fans also remember Will as Curly in the 2012 film reboot of The Three Stooges but he was able to keep his name relevant by jumping into the podcast industry when it was first rising. A podcast called the 10 Minute Podcast was hosted by Will Sasso and his comedian friends, Chris D'Elia and Bryan Callen. The podcast featured the trio doing heaps of excessively fun bits, hopping into some senseless characters, and impressions.
