Background
Selena Marie Gomez was born in Grand Prairie, Texas, on July 22, 1992, to Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Her mom, usually known as Mandy, gave birth to Gomez at 16 years old. Selena Gomez got her start in the entertainment biz with a two-year stint on the children show Barney and Friends. After a couple of bit parts in motion pictures, Gomez guest featured on the Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana.
Relationships
