Rami Said Malek was born on May 12, 1981, in Los Angeles, California. He was to Egyptian guardians and has a twin brother four minutes younger than him. After moving on from the University of Evansville in Indiana in 2003, Malek came back to Los Angeles and took on little roles in network shows like Gilmore Girls and Medium. He handled an increasingly prominent role in Fox's comedy The War at Home in 2005.
