MacKenzie Bezos is known as an American novelist and philanthropist. She is most famous for being the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and for being the executive director and founder of the anti-bullying organization Bystander Revolution.
Background and Education
MacKenzie Bezos was born on April 7, 1970, in San Francisco, California. She is the daughter of a financial advisor, Ted Jorgensen and housewife, Jacqueline Gise. For her education, MacKenzie went to Hotchkiss School in Connecticut in 1988. Afterward, she finished her graduation in English at Princeton University with the highest honors and distinctions in 1992.
Marriage, Husband, and Divorce
MacKenzie was once a married lady. She got married to the founder of Amazon.com, Jeff Bezos. The couple initially met in at the New York City stock investment organization, DE Shaw. Not long after meeting and dating, the couple got married in 1993. As they tied their knot, the married pair had been helping each other in every single step of their life. Together, the couple brought four children into the world.
They have three sons, one of their boy's names is Preston Bezos and they adopted a Chinese girl who is the most youthful of their bunch. MacKenzie has never been in an extramarital relationship and was never observed with some other men in public. There was shocking news is that MacKenzie and her tycoon spouse declared that they are going to separate the following 25 years of marriage. MacKenzie started her career as a research assistant to the famous author, Tony Morrison at her school. She distributed her first book 'The Testing of Luther Albright', it took ten years to finish. The novel was named 'Los Angeles Times' book of the year. With her very own career, she was also helping her better half, Jeff Bezos set up Amazon.com. As her first book earned an immense wave of acknowledgment, MacKenzie propelled her second book named 'Traps'.
In 2014, she established an anti-bullying association, 'Bystander Revolution'. On the site of the association, there are numerous recordings of understudies, superstars, and specialists discussing how to manage bullying.
