Kawhi Leonard is known as an American professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors of the NBA. He is most famous for being one of the few players to win NBA Finals MVP for two different teams.

Education and Stats

Kawhi Leonard was born on June 29, 1991. He was born to father Mark Leonard and mother Kim Leonard. He went to Canyon Springs High School. He then transferred to King High School because they had a better basketball program. His father was shot and killed at a car wash in Compton when he was only 17 years old.

He went to San Diego State University in 2009. He averaged 12.7 points and 9.9 rebounds in his freshman season and 15.7 points and 10.4 rebounds in his sophomore season.

She graduated in 2012 and worked as a human resource professional in San Diego. The couple met while Kawhi Leonard was still in San Diego. In 2014, while the basketballer was making waves with the Spurs, he packed away an NBA title and was accordingly named the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. He has won NBA Defensive Player of the Year twice in succession and furthermore made it to the All-NBA First Team, first in 2016 and again the following year.

In June 2019, Kawahi won a title with the Toronto Raptors and made history by becoming only the 3rd player to ever win an NBA Finals MVP with two different teams. He became the first-ever to do with teams from different conferences.
