When she turned 16, she had her sights completely determined to a career in acting. Around the same time, she moved to Edinburgh to take a seminar on acting and performance at Telford College. During this time, she prepared under Scott Johnson, an outstanding director of the theater. At 18, she migrated to London to study at the consecrated Italia Conti Academy of Theater Arts.

Karen has been in a couple of relationships in her time. The most known one was her association with British photographer Patrick Green. The two started dating in 2006, affirming their relationship to the media later. They were spotted together a couple of times in the public, however they kept their relationship generally quiet. They eventually isolated in 2012 following six years together.
Proceeding onward, she was rumored to date actor Andrew Brooke. The Sherlock Holmes actor had worked with Gillan on one of her guest appearances on Doctor Who. Before long the gossip factories were raising signs about their relationship. These rumors turned out to be significantly more true after they were spotted locking lips during a night out in Spain.
There were also gossipy tidbits about her and co-star Matt Smith, however, these bits of gossip held even less water than the Andrew Brooke bits of gossip.
Acting Career and Net Worth
