Ed Harris is known as an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He is most famous for his roles in Apollo 13, Westworld, and Pollock.
Background and Age
Edward Allen Harris was born on November 28, 1950 in Englewood Health, Englewood, NJ. Harris went to Columbia University, where he played football for a long time until he got keen on acting. He at that point studied at Oklahoma State University and appeared in various theater performances before moving to California, where he graduated from the California Institute of the Arts in 1975. He performed in the stage productions of A Streetcar Named Desire and The Grapes of Wrath and took little roles on an assortment of TV programs.
Married, Wife and Kids
There was a rumor that Ed and his better half, actress Amy Madigan, met and married on the set arrangement of 1984's Place In The Heart. The truth is Amy and Ed really began to look all starry eyed at each other two years earlier while working on a stage production together. They ended up getting married in Waxahachie, Texas, while recording the film in 1983. A little girl, Lily Dolores, was born in May of that year.
The two have worked together on about six projects, including 2000's acclaimed film Pollock, and Ed says sharing a professional life is the key to their conjugal achievement.
Career and Net Worth
In 1978 Harris made his film debut with a little part in Michael Crichton's Coma, however, his first leading role came three years after the fact in George A. Romero's Knightriders (1981), about a band of vagrant bike riders.
Harris appeared in various widely praised movies during the 2000s, including A Beautiful Mind (2001), about the mathematician John F. Nash; The Hours (2002; Academy Award nomination), in which Harris played a writer biting the dust of AIDS; and A History of Violence (2005), a film that depicted a community family man endeavoring to get away from his criminal past. Harris' later prominent credits included the HBO TV series Westworld, a science fiction spine chiller about an amusement park featuring humanlike robots.
In the original 1986 Top Gun blockbuster, Tom Cruise's "Maverick" had contemplations about changing his career into a flight teacher. Over three decades later, it's going on as shown by the December 2019 appearance of the trailer for Top Gun: Maverick. The new project brings significantly increasingly high-flying development and on-the-ground battle from the Navy's most valiant pilot. Harris has a major role in the film.
