He grew up underprivileged and saw radio as a way to get away from it. Bones began his radio career at Henderson State University's campus station, KSWH-FM "The Pulse," when he was 17 years old. Personal Life

Bobby Bones was dating Canadian Country Music Singer Lindsay Ell since 2016. The couple was companions for quite a long time before they eventually started dating one another. In 2016, they kept their relationship mysterious as Bobby expected that his career would negatively affect her.

Bobby and Lindsay were upbeat in their relationship until they chose to get away from one another in October 2017. Both consented to break up because they would not like to hamper their careers because of this relationship. There was too much mixing of personal lives and careers that brought down their love.
