Yung Miami

Caresha Romeka Brownlee, mostly known as Yung Miami, is an American rapper. She is most famous for being a member of the rap duo City Girls with JT.

Background and Education

Caresha Romeka Brownlee was born on February 11, 1994. Yung Miami experienced childhood in Opa-Locka and progressed toward becoming companions with JT through shared friends. They both went to Carol City Middle School in Miami Gardens, Florida, became close companions, and went together to high school dance clubs in Miami. Yung Miami's adoptive parent is Trina. Yung Miami's mom, Keenya Young, has long-time associates with Miami rappers, including Trina and Trick Daddy. Keenya was released from prison in March 2021. She was convicted for a hit and run case in 2009 and was sentenced to five-year jail in 2017. Her father has also served time in jail. At the point when Yung Miami was 14, her father gave her one of his vehicles.

Marriage, Divorce, and Husband

Yung Miami has a child with her ex, Jai Wiggins. The couple separated after Wiggins attacked her and had a few demonstrations of aggressive behavior at home. In 2015, Yung Miami was involved in many occasions where Wiggins supposedly punched and hollered obscenities at her. In one case, she claimed he ripped her wig off of her head during a tirade. The last and perhaps most rough episode occurred in October 2015 when Wiggins purportedly hauled Yung Miami out of a vehicle and punched her continuously over and over punched her in the face and her head. The court eventually gave Yung Miami was the sole custody of her child. In December 2018, Yung Miami started dating Southside, who is a record producer from Atlanta. The couple separated and rejoined later in December after Southside purchased Yung Miami a 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class. In June 2019, Yung Miami announced that she was pregnant.

Career and Net Worth

City Girls recorded their introduction studio track "Screw Dat Nigga" in August 2017 and advanced it through online networking and nightclubs. Soon after that, Quality Control Music incorporated the track into their album collection Control the Streets Volume 1.

On January 16, 2019, City Girls and Cardi B released the music video for "Twerk". Since JT was imprisoned at the time, only Yung Miami and Cardi B were featured in the video. The music video got more than 36 million views in under about fourteen days. The City Girls issued a contest soliciting ladies to post their recordings of twerking for the music video. The band flew out the leading 20 to Miami for the music video shoot, and the winning dancer, DHQUEEN, received a total amount of $25,000.
