Short Biography

Tony Parker is known as a French-American former professional basketball player. He is famous for winning multiple championships with the San Antonio Spurs and his profile relationship with actress, Eva Longoria.

William Tony Parker Jr. was born on May 17, 1982, in Bruges, Belgium. He lived the greater part of his initial life growing up as the child of a basketball player. His father played expertly for a long time in Europe, spending the main part of his career in France. Among the urban areas, the Parkers called home were Gravelines, Denain, Fécamp, and Rouen.

Tony Sr. took his game to the city of Chicago. A skilled shooting guard, he featured at Loyola University in the mid 70s, at that point headed over the Atlantic to pursue his pro ball dreams. His first stop was Amsterdam, where he met Pamela Firestone, a hopeful design model. The two eventually married, and after the birth of Tony, they gave birth to two more children, Terrence and Pierre.

Career as a Basketball Player

With three championship rings at the age of 26, the weight was on Tony to accept a more prominent position of authority on the San Antonio Spurs. In 2007–08, he ended up turning in another strong season, averaging 18.8 points and 6.0 assists a night. The Spurs dealt with the Suns in the first round, with Tony driving the way. He arrived on the star by averaging 30 points in the series, defeating Steve Nash in a five-game series triumph.

Tony went on to face Chris Paul and the Hornets in the following round. New Orleans drove the series 2–0 and 3–2, however, the Spurs won in seven games for an arrival in the Western finals. Tony's jumper late in the final quarter helped the Spurs stop a Hornets rebound. San Antonio's offer to shield its title finished in the following round against the Lakers. A poor approach an undeniable foul toward the finish of Game 4 shielded the Spurs from tying the series, and the Lakers won Game 5 to finish them off.

In June 2019, after one year playing for the Charlotte Hornets, Tony Parker announced his retirement from the sport of basketball.

Wife & Children

Tony Parker was married to Eva Longoria in 2007. The marriage was not a life long triumph and eventually, the couple isolated in 2011. In 2014, Tony married again to French journalist Axelle Francine in San Antonio Texas. The couple has two children Josh and Liam. Tony and Axelle are cheerfully married and have not had any issues that he had when he was dating a high profile celebrity in Eva.
