Tom DeLonge is known as an American rock musician. He is most famous for being a founding member and guitarist of the punk rock band, Blink 182.

Background

Thomas Matthew DeLonge Jr.was born on December 13, 1975, in Poway, California. He was born to parents, Thomas DeLonge Sr. and Connie Delonge. Tom's father worked as an oil association official, while his mother was a home loan agent. As a kid, Tom Delonge was into skateboarding a lot and spent most of his time hanging around in Poway. He also dreamt of becoming a firefighter. He participated in the San Diego Cadet Program to shoot for his goals. DeLonge Jr. first went to Poway High School before he was expelled in 1991 in his junior year. Following his leave from Poway, Tom enrolled at Rancho Bernardo high school where he finished off his high school studies in 1993.

Wife, Children, And Divorce

Tom Delonge was married to his high school sweetheart Jennifer Jenkins. They had been dating since 1996. On May 26, 2001, the two secured their marriage in Coronado, California on the San Diego Bay. Their marriage led to the births of two children, a young lady born in 2002 named Ava Elizabeth DeLonge and her younger brother born in the year 2006 named Jonas Rocket DeLonge.

After numerous years together, they settled on a choice to get a separation. Tom looked for a way to get a divorce in the San Diego County Superior Court and alluded to past differences as the reason for the division. The rocker recorded Dec. 29, 2017, as the pair's split date and referenced joint and authority of his two children with Jennifer. As for spousal assistance, DeLonge said he suggested that he would have no issues giving money and help to his ex.

Musical Career

Tom Delonge performed mostly with his Blink-182 band but he also ventured out to other various groups. With the Box Car Racer band which included Travis Barker on drums, David Kennedy on lead guitar, Anthony Celestino on bass, Tom played guitar, piano and sang. Their album collection, Box Car Racer was released in 2002.

Blink 182 asked well-known rapper Lil Wayne to go on a tour with them in July 2019 but it appeared to be a horrible match. Some groups of spectators said through social media that the rapper was bothered with the tour. On one visit to the Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, a touch of those in the audience tweeted that Lil Wayne basically played 20 minutes before leaving the stage.
