Early Life

Sean Hannity was born on December 30, 1961 in New York City. He was raised in Franklin Square, New York, and attended Sacred Heart Seminary in Hempstead, New York. He graduated from New York University with a degree in Adolescent Education.

Career

Hannity began his career in radio in 1989, hosting a show on the University of California, Santa Barbara's KCSB-FM. He then moved to WVNN in Athens, Alabama, and later to WGST in Atlanta. In 1996, he joined Fox News Channel and began hosting Hannity & Colmes, a political talk show with Alan Colmes. In 2009, he began hosting his own show, Hannity, on Fox News.
