Mark Levin is an American lawyer, author, and radio host. He is best known for his nationally syndicated radio show, The Mark Levin Show, which is broadcast on over 300 stations across the United States. He is also the host of the Fox News show Life, Liberty & Levin.
Early Life
Mark Levin was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 21, 1957. He was raised in a Jewish family and attended Cheltenham High School. He went on to attend Temple University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He then attended Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.
Career
After graduating from law school, Levin began his career as a lawyer in the private sector. He then went on to serve as Chief of Staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese during the Reagan Administration. He also served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Education and as an Associate Director of the Office of Management and Budget.
In 2002, Levin began his radio career with the launch of his nationally syndicated radio show, The Mark Levin Show. The show quickly became one of the most popular radio programs in the country, and is now broadcast on over 300 stations across the United States.
In 2018, Levin began hosting the Fox News show Life, Liberty & Levin. The show focuses on political and legal issues, and features interviews with prominent political figures.
In addition to his radio and television work, Levin is also an author. He has written several books, including Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America, and Rediscovering Americanism: And the Tyranny of Progressivism.
