Early Career
After graduating from college, Stone began his career in the oil and gas industry. He worked for several companies, including Texaco, Shell Oil, and Marathon Oil. He quickly rose through the ranks and became a respected leader in the industry. He was known for his innovative ideas and his ability to think outside the box.
Stone eventually founded his own oil and gas company, Stone Oil Company, in 1965. He was the company's president and CEO for over 25 years. Under his leadership, Stone Oil Company became one of the most successful oil and gas companies in the United States.
Philanthropy
Stone was a generous philanthropist who donated millions of dollars to various charities and causes. He was a major supporter of the University of Oklahoma, where he established the Robert L.
