Background and Age
Regina King was born on January 15, 1971 in Los Angeles, California. She is the oldest girl to proud guardians Gloria and Thomas King. Much to their early dismay that their little girl would wind up having a film and TV career that would fill up more than three decades. She graduated from Westchester High School and furthermore went to the University of Southern California. She is the senior sister of actress, Reina King.

Regina was married to Ian Alexander, her former spouse in 1997. Ian was the VP of Warner Bros. They have a child kid together. Both petitioned for legal separation and were divorced in 2007. After she parted ways with her significant other, the actress dated Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Nicholas Gonzalez, and Curtis Baldwin.
Career and Net Worth
Regina pursued her fantasy about being in entertainment by preparing in acting skills from her coach Betty A. She got her big break when appeared on the TV series, 227. She played the little girl of Lester and Mary Jenkins in the show. When the show got completed and was finished, it was in the year 1990 when the actress started working in motion pictures. She stowed a role in the much acclaimed directorial presentation of John Singleton, in the movie called Boyz N the Hood in 1991.
Afterward, in the movies Poetic Justice and Higher Learning, King had more encounters of working with the incredible director, John Singleton. The doubts are about whether there is material for a season 2 in the first place. Regina and other stars of the show hope to hear about a decision soon.
