Paula Zahn is an American journalist and news anchor who has been a part of the media industry for over three decades. She is best known for her work as a news anchor for CNN, Fox News, and CBS.

Early Life

Paula Zahn was born on February 24, 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was raised in Naperville, Illinois, where she attended Naperville Central High School. She then went on to attend Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, where she earned a degree in mass communications.

Career

After graduating from college, Zahn began her career in journalism as a reporter for KFMB-TV in San Diego, California. She then moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where she worked as a reporter and anchor for WCVB-TV. In 1984, she joined ABC News as a correspondent, where she covered a variety of stories, including the 1986 Challenger disaster.

In 1987, Zahn moved to CBS News, where she served as a correspondent and anchor for the network's morning news program. She then moved to Fox News in 1999, where she served as a news anchor and host of her own show, The Edge with Paula Zahn.

In 2003, Zahn joined CNN, where she served as a news anchor and host of her own show, Paula Zahn Now. She also hosted the network's morning news program, American Morning. She left CNN in 2007 and joined the Investigation Discovery channel, where she hosted the show On the Case with Paula Zahn.

In addition to her work in television, Zahn has also written two books, The Heart of a Soldier and The Joy of Fatherhood.
