• Biography

Nikki Sixx is known as an American rock musician. He is most famous for playing bass in the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe.

Background and Age

Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr. was born on December 11, 1958, in San Jose, California. His father, Frank Sr., left the family not long after, and Sixx was raised by his mom, Deana, and his grandparents. Between different periods of moving, Sixx went to seven schools inside 11 years. While living in Jerome, Idaho, he was removed from school for selling drugs, and his grandparents sent him to live with his mom in Seattle. Sixx became intrigued by music, and his first instrument was a guitar, which he later traded for a bass. At age 17, the aspiring musician moved to Los Angeles and worked unspecialized temp jobs while trying out for bands.

Married, Wife and Kids

From 1986 to 1987, Sixx dated a singer and model named Vanity. Their relationship is chronicled in Sixx's book, The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star. Sixx married Playboy Playmate Brandi Brandt in 1989, and they had three children. The names and birth years of their children are Gunner Nicholas (1991), Storm Brieann (1994) and Decker Nilsson (1995).

Sixx and Brandt separated in 1996, and after one month Sixx married actress Donna D'Errico. They have one girl together named Frankie-Jean Mary. The couple experienced a time of detachments and compromises before at last separating in 2007. In March 2014, Sixx married a model named Courtney Bingham.

Career and Net Worth

In the wake of playing as a bassist in different bands in Los Angeles, Sixx shaped the gathering Mötley Crüe with drummer Tommy Lee. Their best collection, Dr. Feelgood, stayed on the charts for 114 weeks, and the gathering's biography, The Dirt, turned into a New York Times bestselling book and later a motion picture. Sixx hosted the radio show Sixx Sense for quite a while.

In November 2019, Mötley Crüe authoritatively affirmed they are getting back together after what should be their last show on New Year's Eve in 2015. In an announcement posted on the band's site, they said that because of the achievement of "The Dirt," the band biopic featuring Machine Gun Kelly, they chose to give it another go. In 2014, the band signed a "cessation of touring agreement" and quit touring together. The band members Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, and Tommy Lee had been as one for a long time, but at that point separated and quit addressing one another. Alongside the announcement, the band released a video reporting the news.
