Background and Age

Djimon Gaston Hounsou was born on April 24, 1964 in Cotonou, Benin. He was the most youthful of five children. His father's occupation as a cook made the family generally prosperous by West African measures. Hounsou grew up communicating in French and a few tongues of Goun, the Beninois language. The constant motion picture showings in his home town made him consider a career in the entertainment biz. At thirteen years old, Hounsou was sent to Lyons, France to live with a more seasoned sibling and study to turn into a doctor. Djimon started dating American fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons in 2007. They have a child named Kenzo Lee. Their relationship reached a conclusion in 2012 as a result of Djimon cheating on Kimora with Sudanese-Egyptian author Kola Boof. Djimon has also previously dated Debbie Allen and actress Cameron Diaz.

Hounsou's performance in the authentic epic Amistad was broadly lauded and caused a lot to notice the beforehand minimal known actor.
