Liz Claman is an American journalist and television anchor. She is best known for her work on the Fox Business Network, where she has been a host since 2007. She is also the author of the book, The Best Investment Advice I Ever Received.

Early Life

Liz Claman was born in Beverly Hills, California on December 12, 1963. She is the daughter of a Jewish family, and her father was a successful real estate developer. She attended Beverly Hills High School, where she was an active member of the student council and was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" by her classmates. She then went on to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a degree in English Literature.

Career

After graduating from college, Liz Claman began her career in journalism as a reporter for KQED-TV in San Francisco. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a reporter and anchor for KCBS-TV. In 1995, she joined CNBC as a reporter and anchor, and in 2000 she became the co-anchor of the network's morning show, Wake Up Call.

In 2007, Liz Claman joined the Fox Business Network as a host and anchor. She is currently the host of Countdown to the Closing Bell, which airs weekdays from 3-4pm ET. She is also the host of the Fox Business Network's weekly show, The Claman Countdown. In addition to her work on Fox Business Network, Liz Claman is also a frequent guest on Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor and Fox & Friends.

In addition to her work in television, Liz Claman is also the author of the book, The Best Investment Advice I Ever Received. The book is a collection of advice from some of the world's most successful investors, including Warren Buffett, Carl Icahn, and Ray Dalio.
