Laurie Dhue was born on June 10, 1969 in Decatur, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. After graduating, she began her career in journalism as a reporter for WSB-TV in Atlanta.
Career
In 1996, Dhue joined Fox News Channel as a reporter and anchor. She was the first female anchor to be hired by the network. During her time at Fox, she covered major news stories such as the September 11th attacks, the Iraq War, and the 2004 presidential election.
