Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was born on March 28, 1986, in Yonkers, New York. She was born to Cynthia and Joseph Germanotta. Gaga figured out how to play the piano by the age of 4. At 11 years old, she was accepted to the Juilliard School in Manhattan, yet instead decided to attend a private Catholic school in the city. She kept studying music and performing, writing her first piano anthem at 13 years old, and she held her first performance in a New York club at 14 years old. In February 2019, after the singer went to the Grammys without her life partner, a rep affirmed that the commitment was off.
