Early Life

Kevin Coombs was born in London, England on April 15th, 1965. He was the youngest of three children and grew up in a working-class family. His father was a factory worker and his mother was a homemaker. Growing up, Kevin was an avid reader and enjoyed playing sports. He was also a talented musician, playing the piano and guitar.


At the age of 16, Kevin enrolled in the University of London and studied economics. He graduated with honors in 1985 and went on to pursue a master's degree in business administration. During his studies, he developed an interest in finance and decided to pursue a career in the field. After graduating in 1987, he began working as a financial analyst for a large investment bank in London.


In 1990, Kevin was offered a job at a hedge fund in New York City. He accepted the position and moved to the United States. At the hedge fund, he quickly rose through the ranks and became a partner in 1995. During his time at the hedge fund, he developed a reputation as an astute investor and was able to generate impressive returns for his clients.

In 2000, Kevin decided to start his own hedge fund. He raised capital from investors and launched the fund in 2001. The fund quickly became one of the most successful hedge funds in the world and Kevin became a billionaire. He was able to generate returns of over 20% annually for his investors.

In 2010, Kevin decided to retire from the hedge fund business and focus on philanthropy. He established the Kevin Coombs Foundation, which focuses on providing educational opportunities to underprivileged children in the United States and abroad. He also serves on the board of several charities and is a major donor to many causes.
