Jones

Jade Jones is a British Taekwondo athlete who has achieved great success in her sport. She is the first British athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in Taekwondo, and she has also won two World Championship titles. She is currently the reigning Olympic champion in the women's 57 kg category.

Early Life

Jade Jones was born in Bodelwyddan, Wales, in 1993. She began training in Taekwondo at the age of eight, and quickly developed a passion for the sport. She was inspired by her older brother, who was also a Taekwondo athlete. She trained hard and eventually earned her black belt at the age of twelve.

Competitive Career

Jones began competing in Taekwondo tournaments at the age of fourteen. She quickly rose to prominence in the sport, winning the British National Championships in 2009 and 2010.
