Dak Prescott is known as an American pro football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. He is most famous for replacing Tony Romo as the franchise quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.

Rayne Dakota "Dak" Prescott was born on July 29, 1993, in Sulphur, Louisana. He was born to his parents, Nathaniel and Peggy Prescott. He grew up as an understudy of Haughton High School. At the same school, he started playing football for the Buccaneers. By his senior year of high school, Dak drove his team to reach a top accomplishment as the 2010 District 1-AAAA Champions with his 2,860 total yards and 39 touchdowns.

Career as a Football Quarterback

Dak started off his college career when he joined Mississippi State University in 2011 to play for the Mississippi State Bulldogs football program. He was redshirted in his first year for Tyler Russell. By 2012 he played an entirety of 12 games with 194 yards with 4 touchdowns. Coming into 2013, the number of games he played dropped to 11 for which he recorded 1,940 yards with 10 touchdowns. With a 44–7 score over the Rice Owls in the 2013 Liberty Bowl, Dak Prescott was named the MVP of the bowl.

Dak got picked by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2016 NFL Draft in the fourth round. He was the 135th overall pick of the draft. Following preseason damage harm to Tony Romo, Dak worked his way into the starting lineup for the 2016 season. In August 2019, it was accounted for in the football news outlets that Prescott turned down a $30 million offer.
