Colin Egglesfield was only nine months into his huge break as "Josh Madden" on "All My Children" when he got a cancer diagnosis. He noticed that his left gonad had expanded. He went to see and they found that it was at a quite propelled stage. He did the medical procedure and found that a portion of the cancer cells had spread through the veins and arteries to the kidneys.

Egglesfield completed a medical procedure to expel the malignant growth, yet a year after his underlying finding, specialists found it had spread to his other gonad also. The odds of that event are stuck at around 5 percent. Egglesfield finished treatment and was eventually proclaimed cancer-free. His experience motivated him to give a charitable effort to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, where he thinks that its simple to identify with children and families experiencing treatment.
