In July 2013, Yocom married Charles Christopher Spielman, prominently known as Chris Spielman to football fans. Her better half is a former American football player, now working as an analyst for Fox NFL. He is most famous for playing linebacker for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Detroit Lions. He was granted the Dial Award for the national high school competitor of the year in 1983.

Chris played in the NFL for the Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, and the Cleveland Browns, and he worked as a College Football broadcaster with ESPN for a long time. He moved to Fox Sports as an NFL Football expert in 2016. He joined Fox NFL coverage as an analyst close by the veteran commentator, Dick Stockton, and sideline journalist Kristina Pink.

Chris was first married to Stefanie Spielman in 1989. They together had four children named Madison, Noah, Macy, and Audrey. Sadly, she passed away from breast cancer on November 19, 2009. Despite Stefanie's passing away from breast cancer, Chris consistently thought about her and fought for her memory by raising assets for future cancer patients.

Yocom feels proud to be a step-parent as she has taken great care and consideration of her stepchildren. She adores her better half along with his children a great deal. Yocom brought forth two girls, Kendra Spielman, and Gina Spielman. Yocom was very welcoming to Chris's children from his first marriage. She loved her stepchildren as much as her own children and wanted to make sure they understood that they were central. The family lives in Upper Arlington, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio.

Carrie Yocom worked as a Strategic Investment Analyst at Cardinal Health Foundation in Dublin, Ohio. The Foundation was established in 2001. The primary point of the establishment is to be an impetus for positive change in social insurance, populace wellbeing, and networks through partnerships and charity.

Yocom also worked as an Operations Planner at Bath and Body Works; the organization was established on September 13, 1990, and deals with scents, beauty care products, and numerous other bath merchandise.
