Early Life
Andy Hill was born in London, England in 1965. He was the youngest of three children and grew up in a working-class family. His father was a factory worker and his mother was a homemaker. He attended a local primary school and then went on to secondary school. He was an average student but had a passion for music and was a member of the school choir.
Career
After leaving school, Andy Hill decided to pursue a career in music. He began playing in local bands and eventually joined a band called The Stranglers. He played guitar and sang backing vocals for the band and they went on to have several hits in the UK. After leaving The Stranglers, Andy Hill went on to form his own band, The Andy Hill Band. The band released several albums and toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe.
In the late 1990s, Andy Hill decided to focus on producing and songwriting. He wrote and produced songs for a variety of artists, including Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, and Take That. He also wrote and produced the theme song for the popular British TV show, The X Factor. In addition to his work as a producer and songwriter, Andy Hill also worked as a music supervisor for several films, including The Full Monty and Bridget Jones's Diary.
Later Years
In the 2000s, Andy Hill continued to work as a producer and songwriter. He wrote and produced songs for a variety of artists, including Leona Lewis, Will Young, and Westlife. He also wrote and produced the theme song for the popular British TV show, The Voice.
