• Biography

Alejandro Fernández is known as a Mexican singer. He is most famous for selling over 30 million albums across the globe.

Background and Age

Alejandro Fernández Abarca was born on April 24, 1971 in Mexico City, Mexico. He was brought up in the Mexican city of Guadalajara. Growing up, he and his family split their time between the countryside, where Fernandez figured out how to ride steeds, and the city. This gave him the experience he expected to sing similarly well of both the Mexican open country and its rancheros, and of city life.

Since his father is the prestigious Mexican singer Vicente Fernandez, music was a basic part of Fernandez's home life, which added to his future achievement. Fernandez first performed in public when he was only four years of age. His father brought him on tour to the United States, and at a show in San Antonio, Texas, encouraged him to get on stage to play with him. Confronting a horde of 10,000 fans, Fernandez played out the tune "Alejandra." The experience profoundly affected the kid, he got down in tears immediately afterward.

Married, Wife and Kids

Alejandro Fernández was recently married to Ximena Díaz from 2000 to 2004. He was married to America Guinart from 1992 to 1998. Alejandro Fernández has been in relationships with Karla Laveaga, Eiza González, and Ayari Anaya.

Career and Net Worth

Alejandro Fernandez is one of the most well known Mexican singers of anthems, love melodies, and mariachi music. At six years old, Fernandez earned his first check as a performer when he featured in the film Picardia Mexicana, and kept on sharpening his abilities as he developed at Mexican rodeo fairs, constructing his very own fan base. Fernandez made his chronicle debut with the tune "Love de los Dos" (Our Love). A two part harmony sung with his father, the tune appeared on his father's collection Mexico, Voz y Sentimiento. When Fernandez was 19, he cut his first performance tune, "El Andariego" (The Wanderer), which appeared on another of his father's collections.

Outside Mexico, Fernandez has played in huge numbers of the world's incredible venues, including New York's Madison Square Garden. His melodies have appeared routinely on the Latin pop charts since his debut collection debut in 1991. In 2000 he was granted the Latin Grammy for Best Ranchero Performance. In 2000-01 he got the Tito Guizar Award for Best Singer and Performer in Mexican and Hispanic Music.

At the 2019 Latin Grammy Awards, one of the biggest moments of the night was when three generations of the Fernandez family shared the stage together and made history.
