Yoo Hye Yeon

Yoo Hye-Yeon is known as a former South Korean professional violinist and fashion designer. She is most famous for being the wife of the K-Pop singer, Psy.

Yoo Hye-Yeon was born on March 10, 1977 in South Korea. She graduated from Yonsei University which is located in Seoul, South Korea. When she was in college, she studied classical instruments like the violin and cello.

Marriage with Psy

Yoo Hye-Yeon is happily married to K-Pop superstar, Psy. They met each other when they were matched up by a shared colleague. She is twelve years more youthful than her better half. After falling in love for three long years, they got married on October 14, 2006. She loved Psy well before he would become a global star. She was the person who encouraged him to turn into a recording artist. She helped Psy make the decision to join the record label, YG Entertainment after his military service work finished up in 2010. PSY once expressed in an interview that Yoo Hye-Yeon and Freddie Mercury are the main role models and legends of his life. Eventually, they were honored with twin little girls.

After the release of Gangnam Style in 2012, PSY hit the mainstream and became a worldwide star. His name blew up when the United States embraced the song and the dance. All over the country, people would do the famous dance at parties and at sports events. PSY was credited for helping to pave the road for future K-Pop stars succeeding in America. Before him, there were only a few acts that were accepted in America. When he made it big, there was a flood of K-Pop success in America.

Yoo has appeared in a few commercials with her significant other including Haute Couture and Wonderful Pistachios. The newfound fame allowed Yoo Hye-Yeon to bring in extra income from her social media profiles as an influencer. She has a large following because of her marriage to Psy and her ability to actively engage with their adoring fans.

Career

After college, Yoo performed as a professional violinist in South Korea. Although she had a passion for classical music, the profession was not enough income for her. She also worked as a fashion designer to supplement her income.

Yeon has been engaged with different charities and social causes. She has been publicly supporting altruistic establishments like Rotary International and World Vision.
