Khalil Mack is known as an American football outside linebacker for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. He is most famous for being the highest paid linebacker in the NFL.

Khalil Delshon Mack was born on February 22, 1991 in Fort Pierce, Florida. His folks are Sandy Mack Sr. and Yolanda who was a teacher. They were high school sweethearts. Growing up, Khalil Mack was educated at Fort Pierce Westwood High School where he was nicknamed the "Bombshell Man" by his high school football partners. At first, he dedicated more time to playing basketball bearing in mind the end goal of getting a scholarship but he suffered a patella ligament tear. His high school basketball career and eventually scholarship dreams were smothered.

With such a noteworthy college career, Khalil Mack got into the NFL as the fifth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, chosen by the Oakland Raiders, which set him in front as the highest chosen Buffalo Bulls football player ever. The defensive end from Fort Pierce got off to a great start in his rookie season with the Raiders. He played every one of the 16 games in the 2014 season after which he completed as the third-best Defensive Rookie of the year. He only trailed Aaron Donald and C. J. Mosley of the St. Louis Rams and Baltimore Ravens. In the 2015 season, Khalil Mack made the AP All-Pro First Team at two unique positions in the season, linebacker and right defensive end. He was additionally positioned thirteenth in the NFL Top 100 Players of 2016 by his kindred players in the class.
