Early Life
Hill was born on October 26, 1883, in a one-room log cabin in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. His father, James Hill, was a poor farmer who struggled to make ends meet. His mother, Martha, was a devout Christian who taught her son the importance of hard work and perseverance. Hill was the youngest of seven children and had to work from a young age to help support his family.

Career

Hill's articles were so popular that he was asked to write a book about success. The result was Think and Grow Rich, which was published in 1937 and has since sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
Hill went on to write several other books, including The Law of Success (1928), The Magic Ladder to Success (1930), and Outwitting the Devil (1938). He also lectured extensively on the topics of success and personal achievement.
