Lauren Daigle is known as an American contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her debut album, How Can It Be.

Background and Age

Lauren Ashley Daigle was born on September 9, 1991 in Lafayette, LA. Experiencing childhood in Lafayette, Louisiana was encompassed by gospel, zydeco, blues, and Cajun music. Lauren was always singing around the house as a youngster. It wasn't until a disease kept her out of school for almost two years starting when she was 15 that she went to music as both comfort and a profession. Self-taught during that time, music turned into Daigle's defense against social segregation, and she started singing at her neighborhood church. Friends and associates immediately urged her to go for the American Idol TV series, which she did in both 2010 and 2012.

The stressful process of trying out for the show showed her a ton of significant exercises to improve her craft, and she came all the way back resolved to hone her writing and singing aptitudes. She started seeking a degree at Louisiana State University where she was asked by a nearby band to help with vocals on an EP. A demo of the EP advanced toward the Centricity Music label, and they signed Daigle as an independent artist in 2013.

Career and Net Worth

Daigle's five-tune debut EP, the Paul Mabury-produced How Can It Be, was released in late 2014 and arrived on the Christian charts. In the spring of 2015, How Can It Be was ventured into a full-length LP and became both a personal and business achievement, traverse to arrive at number 30 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and eventually went platinum. It was selected for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.

Daigle lined up in October 2016 with a collection of delicate jazz-propelled Christmas songs. It repeated the chart accomplishment of her debut presentation. The next year saw her contribute a single to the soundtrack for Blade Runner 2049, and she got her second Grammy nomination, this time in the class of Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "Trust in You." In 2018, Daigle released her sophomore full-length and Daigle turned into the first artist to arrive at number one on five Christian charts.

In November 2019, at the 2019 American Music Awards, Ozuna was nominated for the Favorite Artist in the Contemporary Inspirational category and won the honor.
