Background and Age

Kelsea Nicole Ballerini was born on September 12, 1993 in Mascot, TN. Her father is a country music radio programmer and her mom works in promoting the Thomas Nelson Bible distributing and a sponsorship organization.

Kelsea Ballerini started writing melodies when she was 13 years of age, learned guitar a year later, and moved to Nashville at 15 to pursue her fantasy about being a professional singer and songwriter. After four years, when she was 19, Ballerini signed a deal with Black River Publishing and another deal with Black River Entertainment later that same year. She went to Lipscomb University for a long time until she pursued her musical career full time.

Kelsea is currently in a relationship with the renowned Australian singer Morgan Evans. After a long term and loving relationship, the couple got engaged toward the finish of 2016.

Career and Net Worth

Kelsea's introduction debut single, "Love Me Like You Mean It," appeared from her record label in 2014. The melody gradually turned into a success, arriving at number five on the Billboard country music singles charts and number one on its country music airplay charts. A digital EP, just titled Kelsea Ballerini, was released in November 2014, and as word about Ballerini spread, she was named one of 2014's Next Women of Country by CMT and appeared on the Grand Ol' Opry on February 13, 2015.

In May 2015, Black River released Ballerini's first full-length album collection, The First Time. It appeared at four on Billboard's U.S. country music charts and 31 on the Billboard Top 200, eventually going gold. In June 2017, Ballerini released "Legends," the main single from her sophomore LP, Unapologetically, which appeared in November. The next year saw Ballerini issue a select adaptation of the collection that added four new tracks, including the single "Fun and Games." In 2019, she was a featured guest on Thomas Rhett's single "Center Point Road."

In 2016, Kelsea won two ACM Awards for New Female Vocalist of the Year. In 2017, she was named iHeartRadio Music Awards-Best New Country Artist. In the summer of 2017, Ballerini was named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 – Music list at #2.

In November 2019, at the 2019 American Music Awards, Kelsea was nominated for the Favorite Female Artist in the Country Category Award but lost to Carrie Underwood.
