Early Life
José Rodrigues dos Santos was born in Lisbon, Portugal, on April 28, 1964. He was raised in a middle-class family and attended the University of Lisbon, where he studied journalism. After graduating, he began working as a journalist for the Portuguese newspaper Diário de Notícias.
Career
In 1994, José Rodrigues dos Santos began working for the Portuguese public broadcaster RTP. He was the host of the news program “Jornal da Noite” and the political talk show “A Voz do Povo”. He also wrote and presented several documentaries for RTP.
