Bret Hart is known as a retired professional wrestler. He is most famous for being one of the key figures that sparked the “Attitude Era” which was World Wrestling Entertainment’s highest peak of mainstream success.

Background and Family

Bret Hart was born on July 2, 1957 to wrestler Stu Hart and his better half, Helen. He is of Irish ancestry through his maternal grandfather and Greek through his maternal grandma. Hart experienced childhood in a large group of eleven siblings. He had seven brothers named Smith, Bruce, Keith, Wayne, Dean, Ross, and Owen. He had four sisters named Ellie, Georgia, Alison, and Diana.

His passion for wrestling came at a young age. As a youngster, he saw his father preparing future wrestlers like Billy Graham in the Dungeon, his family basement which filled in as a preparation room for wrestling. Before school, his father had him hand out fliers to nearby wrestling shows.

Career

During the WrestleMania Hall of Fame Ceremony in April 2019, Bret Hart got a scare when a crazy fan rushed the one and tackled him. He was giving a speech to accept his entrance into the hall of fame when things got messy. Luckily, there were MMA fighters and other pro wrestlers ringside that control the situation quickly and protected Bret from any harm.

Bret Hart has been married three times in all his years. He first got married with Julie Smadu on the 25th of March 1960. The couple gave birth to their first child, Jade Michelle on March 31, 1983. The next year on August 11, their second youngster Dallas Jeffery was born. They had their third child, Alexandra Sabina Hart and their fourth kid, Blade Colton Hart on May 17, 1988 and June 5, 1990 respectively.

The four hearts on the right thigh of his wrestling tights are references his children, as do the four dabs on his signature. Sadly, Bret and Julie parted ways in May 1998. They had a few brief reunions throughout the following 4 years. On June 24, 2002, the couple at long last separated from only hours before Hart endured a stroke.

Two years after, Hart married an Italian lady named Cinzia Rota. The two couldn't stay happy and finished separating in 2007. On July 24, 2010, he traded marital promises with Stephanie Washington. Bret's third and current mate, Stephanie Washington is initially from San Francisco who graduated with a B.A in history from San Francisco State University in 2005. She holds a BA in criminal equity from Mount Royal College in 2013. She was with Bret’s side as he fought cancer.
