Tacko Fall

Tacko Fall is known as a Senegalese professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association. He is most famous for his big stature of being 7′ 6″ tall.

Biography and Age

Elhadji Tacko Sereigne Diop Fall was born on December 10, 1995 in Dakar, Senegal. His religion is Christian. He moved from Senegal to the United States at age 16. He at that point visited the International Sports Training Institute at Dakar, known as ISTI-Dakar. He went to Jamie's House Charter School. He went to Liberty Christian Prep in Florida for his last two years of high school.

Career As A Basketball Player

In 2017, Fall was named American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was announced for the 2017 NBA draft. In the 2019 NBA draft, he was signed to a contract on June 21, 2019, by the Boston Celtics. He played for the Celtics during the 2019 NBA Summer League season.

The 7-foot-5 rookie Tacko Fall has been a fan favorite as far back as he appeared with the Celtics' Summer League team, yet beside certain appearances in the preseason, his time on the court with the Celtics has been constrained to a couple of minute spells against the New York Knicks back in October. He's spent a great part of the season either in Maine with the Red Claws in the G League.

That all changed in a December 2019 game. Because of certain injuries to other players, he was with the Celtics and on the active list for their matchup with the Detroit Pistons. On account of big production evenings from their young wing pair Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, who combined together for 52 points, the Celtics were in full control before the finish of the second from last quarter. As Boston kept on cruising to the success, the fans started chanting for Tacko to enter the game. Again and again, they chanted his name, requesting Celtics coach Brad Stevens to place him in the game.

At long last, with a little more than four minutes left, they got their wishes. Stevens yielded, and with a smile all over, waved Fall into the game. He completed the game with five points, two rebounds and a block in four or more minutes, giving him a career-high in his Boston debut.
