Peter Doocy was born on July 21, 1987 in New Jersey. He is the son of Steve Doocy, a Fox News anchor, and Kathy Gerrity Doocy, a former Fox News producer. He has two siblings, a brother named Walter and a sister named Sally.
Doocy attended Villanova University, where he graduated with a degree in political science in 2009. During his time at Villanova, he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.
Career
Doocy began his career in journalism in 2009, when he joined Fox News Channel as a general assignment reporter. He was quickly promoted to become a White House correspondent in 2012.
