Early Life
Michael DeMond Davis was born on August 15, 1975 in Los Angeles, California. He was the youngest of three children born to his parents, Robert and Mary Davis. His father was a successful businessman and his mother was a homemaker. Growing up, Michael was an active and outgoing child who enjoyed playing sports and spending time with his family.
Education
Michael attended public school in Los Angeles and excelled in his studies. He was an honor roll student and was accepted into the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). At UCLA, Michael majored in business and minored in economics. He graduated with honors in 1997 and was accepted into the MBA program at Stanford University.
Career
After graduating from Stanford, Michael began his career in the financial services industry. He worked for a number of different companies, including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. He quickly rose through the ranks and was eventually promoted to the position of Vice President of Investment Banking. In this role, he was responsible for managing the investments of high net worth individuals and corporations.
In 2006, Michael decided to pursue his own entrepreneurial venture and founded his own investment firm, Davis Capital Management. The firm specializes in providing financial advice and services to high net worth individuals and corporations.
