Kit Hoover made her TV debut in 1995 as a cast member on the first season of MTV's "Road Rules." Soon after she joined King World Production as their entertainment columnist for "American Journal."

Hoover then went to Fox News in 1999 as a reporter for Fox Broadcasting Company's newsmagazine, "FOX Files." In 2003, she started as host ESPN2's "Cold Pizza," and furthermore filled in as a guest judge on ESPN's reality challenge, "Dream Job."

Kit didn't think they'd be away for in excess of two or three weeks or that they'd wind up doing shows from home, so when she left the studio that day, she didn't try to bring any cosmetics, hair apparatuses, or garments with her. There were greater things on the planet to stress over, and looking great while staying at home most of the time wasn't one of them. A week and a half later, her producers revealed to the set that they would film their first remote show from home.
