Jacques Lonchampt was born in Paris, France in 1965. He attended the prestigious École Polytechnique in Paris, where he earned a degree in engineering. After graduating, he went on to pursue a master's degree in business administration from the University of Paris-Dauphine.
Career
Jacques Lonchampt began his career in the banking industry, working for the French bank, Crédit Lyonnais. He then moved on to become the head of the investment banking division at the French bank, Société Générale. In 1998, he founded Lonchampt Capital, an investment firm based in Paris.
In 2003, Jacques Lonchampt was appointed to the board of directors of Groupe PSA, a French-based multinational company. He was then appointed chairman of the board of directors in 2008. In 2011, he was appointed to the board of directors of Total, another French-based multinational company.
Philanthropy
